50 word stories

FIRST
Joel walks up as he hears noises coming from his bedroom. Feeling scared and nervous, he opens the door gently and lightly. Joel goes in and sees nothing unusual. All of a sudden, someone hits him on the head and he fell to the ground with his face down, unconscious.

SECOND
Awaken by the rays of sunlight, birds chirping, Joan wakes up, stretching her arms in the air and lets out a yawn. It’s her 17th birthday today. Decorations of balloons were all hung up, friends and relatives gathered, all ready for Joan’s appearance. She jumped for joy for the surprise.

THIRD
The sky was getting dark and overcastting. He enters the forest with a heavy heart. He puts his bag down and took out his compass in search for a hidden treasure. However, the dominant clouds send chills down his spine. He decides to leave the forest and head for home.

FOURTH
Tears are rolling down her rosy cheeks as she looks down at her score sheet, which was full of red marks. She is afraid, very afraid. Afraid that her stern parents will scold and punish her. Unable to take the stress, she runs away from home, runs away from reality.

FIFTH
Amy is screaming her lungs out for help but no one seems to be responding to her. Tears gradually fill her eyes as she watches the ferocious dog barking at her. Unfortunately, it is moving closer to Amy. When it begins about to pounce on her, she faints in fright.
